I have credit cards that say they cover me for rental car insurance when you use the card for full payment of rental. How it works? Took? It is appropriate for me to obtain additional insurance at the rental agency (such notice)? If I am in an accident credit card and insurance cover all or will it also be attributed to my regular insurance company car?

I think if I remember correctly, the credit card covers only the portion of the deduction for your car insurance. It could be better used to communicate with the company credit card to be sure.

Insurance credit card provided the rent is re-cost embursement means that you must pay for repairs and then submit the receipt for credit insurers. They may take as long as you want emburse again and you can not be completely re-embursed. Also there is the problem of “loss of use”, which is not covered by insurance or personal insurance CC. This means when the vehicle is being repaired and does not produce income, you’re always rent a car essencially sitting in the repair shop. LDW Only offered by the charter can only walk a few steps.

Each card is different, and the credit card companies can change their insurance companies, without notice. Most of them give the collision itself. If you have an accident, which will cover repair costs above the insurance company to assume, but do not cover the cost of hiring replacement for you to drive. Very few of them cover the liability. The most complete coverage can be offered by the insurance company for a lower price on waivers offered by rental companies. In Manitoba, for example, is sold (for Manitobans) a policy of rental cars, offering $ 50 deductible for damage, loss of use coverage and liability coverage 5 million U.S. dollars, this package can be purchased to cover a car rental in Canada or the United States. So before you rely on your credit card, read the label booklet, then talk with your insurance agent car.

Yes, there’s a catch. . Most of the CC will cover only after exhausting your auto insurance. . and yes, you should get coverage by the rental agent. why? because when you get into an accident or if the vehicle was stolen, which cover the car to 100% non-deductible for you, even if the car was vadilized the parking lot. . are not required to notify not the high rate of coinsurance and deductible. . co-insurance tell you not to buy it beacause when a complaint make money on your deductible. . So when you browse the rental car, you have the option of full or core. . Basically it means that the machine is 100% covered, no matter what happens. . I used to be a dealer. .
