OK I am 20 yrs old have insurance for my mother. I started smoking when I was 16. Now I want to quit smoking. I have a friend who does laser therapy to quit smoking and she said it was the best thing ever. I want to know the laser therapy can actually work, and I do not know how to determine if medical coverage laser therapy for smoking cessation.

Call the health insurance company and ask. I bet they will say no because their are other ways to get out it does not cost them or the money. This is not exactly a “life saving” surgery. I imagine her in the same category as cosmetic surgery, the option does not cover.

I doubt they cover. Laser treatment is more like cosmetic surgery. You really need ways, there are others to stop smoking.
